Hawkins-Welwood Homes
announces two major residential projects The Lawn at Glen
Abbey in North Dallas and Normandy Estates in Plano
Two important new residential projects to
be constructed in partnership with other prominent area
developers are being announced by Hawkins-Welwood Homes. We
are delighted to be able to talk about these exciting
world-class communities that are scheduled to go up soon in
two of the most desirable North Dallas and Plano
neighborhoods, says Hawkins-Welwood president John Hawkins.

The Lawn at Glen Abbey
A June groundbreaking is set for The Lawn
at Glen Abbey, with luxury terrace and zero lot line homes
strategically sited on 19 acres adjoining the exclusive
residential community of Glen Abbey. Located on Keller
Springs Road east of the tollway and west of Preston Road,
the land covers what was formerly the Phillip Jonsson
Estate. Principles joining Hawkins-Welwood on the project
are The Folsom Company and Denny Holman. Pre-construction
sales will begin in September 2007, with the first occupancy scheduled

Normandy Estates
The Normandy Estates community at Spring
Creek Parkway and Tennyson Road spans 75 acres of heavily
wooded creek-lined estate and zero lot line lots

award-winning Plano ISD, three neighborhoods offer a range
of living options:
52 estate lots are sized from 15,000
square feet to 36,000 square feet, with house prices from
$1,600,000 and up.
49 patio homes will range from $900,000 to and up
38 townhomes will range from $500,000 to and up
Exclusive builders in the Normandy
Estates development are Hawkins-Welwood Homes, Alford Homes,
Lonnie Grey Premier Custom Homes, Peckham Homes, Bentley
Custom Homes and Zachary
Custom Builders. Groundbreaking is slated for July 2007.
Lots will go on sale starting in October and the first homes
will begin construction in summer 2008.
